Cards Class

Class: Cards
Room: 304
Teacher: Katalani

Objectives: The objective of this class is to teach students the basics about playing the Triple Triad card game, this includes an in depth description of all the current rules, basic and advanced, some techniques for playing, and a look at all the different cards there are to collect.

Rules:
Only one unexcused absence is will be tolerated. Every absence after this will cause your grade to drop and put you in jeopardy of failing.

If absent, you must provide a note from the infirmary as confirmation

Although you are expected to take an active role in classes, please use good manors at all times, and do not interrupt the learning of others

No food or beverages are to be consumed in the classroom, however, water is allowed

Obey all the general Garden rules. (This includes, but is not limited to, no magic in the classrooms, no foul language, use complete sentences, and post within the character limit.)

Always bring everything you need to classes, pens, notepad etc. Your equipment shall not be provided for you should you forget it

A random deck will be issued for practice games, but for the final exam, you are required to bring your own deck (assuming you actually have one, if not, I’m sure something can be arranged)

Grading: Is made up of three elements
a) Participation: 20%
b) Test Games: 30%
c) Final Exam: 50%

The Final Exam will be held in the Quad on a given date when the time is appropriate, If you have not shown that you understand the rules, and how to play, you will not be welcome to attend

((OOC: For anyone planning to take part in this class, you need to have a registered account on this website http://ttadvance.ca/, as well as providing your username on the site in your first post of this thread, so it can be compiled into a list and everyone knows who's who.
I would recommend just using the same username if you can to keep things easy.
Games relating to this class will be held in this way, so if anyone had questions about how the website works, feel free to PM me and ill see how I can help.
Personal challenges can be done by means of the challenge thread also located on this board, this thread will be kept in the RP context.
And finally, please remember to report any wins and losses to me so we can keep track
